The national parks are a vital piece of our nation's heritage and they have the will to instill a new sense of patriotism, promote reflection, and develop self-sufficiency all while fostering brotherhood. The vastness of this nature, found so rarely in our day to day lives, has the power to transform one's character and when this adventure into the wild happens with others, it creates a bond that is shared between these people that is lifelong and unbreakable.

"There can be nothing in the world more beautiful than the Yosemite, the groves of the giant sequoias and redwoods, the Canyon of the Colorado, the Canyon of the Yellowstone, the Three Tetons; and our people should see to it that they are preserved for their children and their children's children forever, with their majestic beauty all unmarred."

- Theodore Roosevelt -
